VNSGU has announced 3 vacancies exclusively for eligible Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates under a special recruitment drive. These are backlog vacancies in the Third Attempt category.

Abbreviations: B = Blind, LV = Low Vision, D = Deaf, HH = Hard of Hearing.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Nationality: Reservation benefits are restricted to SC, ST, SEBC, and EWS candidates of the origin of Gujarat only.

• Technical Assistant (D.C.A.) & Computer Operator (D.C.A.):
  • A Bachelor's degree from a UGC-recognized university in a Computer-related field such as BCA, B.Sc. Computer Science, B.Sc. IT, B.E. Computer Engineering, B.Tech Computer Engineering, B.E. Information Technology, or an equivalent degree.
  • Candidates must pass the CCC (Course on Computer Concepts) and Hindi/Gujarati higher-level examinations during their five-year contractual period if not already qualified.
• Junior Clerk/Typist:
  • A Bachelor's degree from a UGC-recognized university.
  • A certificate of basic computer application knowledge from a recognized institute, as per General Administration Department, Gandhinagar resolutions number CRR-10-2007-120320-G.5 dated 13-08-2008 and 18-03-2016.
  • Candidates must pass the CCC and Hindi/Gujarati higher-level examinations during their five-year contractual period if not already qualified.
  • Desirable: Prior experience in university or government departments.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection for all three posts will be conducted through the following stages:

1. Written Examination (if required, as per the discretion of the university)
2. Verification of Documents — Original certificates will be scrutinized
3. Personal Interview

Important: No TA/DA (Travel Allowance / Dearness Allowance) shall be paid to candidates attending the Written Examinations or Verification of Documents. Admit cards and call letters will be sent to candidates by e-mail only.

6. Take a printout of the submitted application form for future reference.
7. Government employees: Must apply through the proper channel or send an advance copy with the application fee, marked "ADVANCE COPY" on the envelope, and produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview. Direct applications from in-service candidates will not be considered.

• Valid Caste/Category Certificate (SC / ST / SEBC / EWS) from the Competent Authority of the State (if applicable)
• Current Financial Year Non-Creamy Layer Certificate in Prescribed Proforma (for SEBC candidates)
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer (for in-service candidates)
• Two recent passport-size photographs and a Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN)
• Any change in address must be communicated in writing to the Registrar, Veer Narmad South Gujarat University
