iii. Officers with 5 years regular service at the level of Deputy Secretary of Central Government in the grade pay of Rs.7600 and having 3 years’ experience in the field of finance and accounts

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Raebareli stands as a premier institute of national importance located in the heart of Uttar Pradesh. Established in February 2009 under Phase-II of the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY), this mega healthcare project was approved with an outlay of Rs. 823 crore. It aims to correct regional imbalances in affordable healthcare access and provide high-quality tertiary care to the public. The project received formal legal status through a Gazette Notification on 13th August 2013, marking a significant milestone in the state's medical infrastructure.
Infrastructure and Administrative Setup
For the establishment of the institute, the State Government of Uttar Pradesh allocated 148 acres of land. Out of this, 97 acres have already been transferred to the Central Government as of July 2013, while the remaining 51 acres are currently under acquisition. To ensure world-class execution, the Ministry appointed M/s HSCC (India) Ltd as the Project Management Consultant in July 2013. For academic and administrative mentorship, the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MOH&FW) has nominated the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, to guide AIIMS Raebareli. Consequently, the Director of PGIMER holds the additional charge of Director, AIIMS Raebareli.
