AIIMS Patna has officially released the notification for the recruitment of 43 Junior Resident (Non-Academic) posts on an ad-hoc basis for six months. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed MBBS (including completion of Internship) from an MCI/NMC recognized institute.
• NMC/MCI/State Medical Registration must be produced before joining (if selected).

Age Limit

• Age as on: 20 February 2026
• Upper Age Limit: 37 years.
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: Up to 5 years.
  • OBC: Up to 3 years.
  • OPH (Orthopedic/Physical Handicapped): General (Up to 5 years), OBC (Up to 8 years), SC/ST (Up to 10 years).

Mandatory Requirements

• Reservation: EWS/OBC-NCL/SC/ST reservation as per Central Government rules.
• PwBD Reservation: 4% horizontal reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBDs). Physical requirements include S, ST, BN, MF, W, SE, RW, H, C. Suitable categories: OA (One arm), OL (One leg).
• Certificates: Valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate for OBC (issued within 1 year) and valid EWS certificate (issued within 1 year) are mandatory.
