Advertisement for post on purely contractual basis in the Extramural/Intramural Research Project “Screening of Thalassemia & other Hemoglobinopathies among unmarried youths of Jaunsar, Bawar region of Uttarakhand: A pilot study funded by _UCOST
i. Applications are invited for filling up of following posts under Extramural Research Project “Screening of Thalassemia & other Hemoglobinopathies among unmarried youths of Jaunsar, Bawar region of Uttarakhand:
ii. A pilot study funded by UCOST on under Principal Investigator Dr Harish Chandra, AIIMS, Rishikesh purely on a contractual basis as per the below-mentioned details:
1. Post Name: Research Associate

3. Essential Qualification: Post-graduation in science with 3 year research experience or PhD
4. Desirable Qualification:
Good knowledge of computers (MS WORD/MS Excel) with data entry and handling. Should have experience on phlebotomy. Ready to go on field visits. Experience on qualitative research, & knowledge of basic statistics will be an additional qualification.
5. Consolidated Fixed Emolument (per month): 18,000
6. Nature of Employment: Contractual
7. Duration of Employment: Initial recruitment for 03 months extendable up to 02 Year, depending on the candidate’s performance and budget grant from the funding agency.
8. Job Location: AIIMS, Rishikesh will be required to travel to Jaunsar, Bawar region of Uttarakhand

Selection Procedure
1. Method of recruitment may be written exam / Interview or both.
