Number of Vacancy: 17 Posts

Educational Qualification: BCA, B.Com, B.Tech/B.E, M.Sc, MCA

Applications are invited for the temporary posts of Project Scientists, Project Associate-II, Project Associate-I and Project Assistant for the project entitled "Operationalization of Climate Studio" at the Centre for Climate Change and Disaster Management (CCCDM), Anna University, Chennai 600 025. Candidates with the following knowledge and experience are requested to apply for the following temporary posts. 

1. Post Name : Project Scientist

2. Qualification : Essential: PhD in Engineering / Technology / Science and Humanities or Equivalent Industrial or R& D experience in climate sectoral tools (minimum 4 years after PG).

3. Desirable: a) Experience in Climate modelling/ climate change impacts on water resource / climate change impacts on Agriculture/ climate change impacts on Forestry & Biodiversity/ climate change impacts on Coastal Area Management/ climate change impacts on Sustainable Habitat/ Geo-spatial Analysis.

b) Applicants to the post of Project Scientist should submit a concept note stating the need and objective of research relevant to climate change modelling and adaptation to vulnerable sectors (Water, Agriculture, Forest, Coastal Area and Sustainable Habitat including health). Copies of relevant publications to be submitted along with the application.

1. Post Name : Project Associate II

2. Qualification : Essential: M.E./M.Tech in Environment Engineering/ Environmental Management/ Environment Science and Technology/Bio- technology/Computer Science/M.Sc. Agriculture

3. Desirable: Experience in climate modelling/ water resource management/ agriculture/ forestry and Biodiversity/ Coastal Area Management/ Sustainable Habitat/ Geo-spatial Analysis
