Skills / Eligibility
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Rajasthan (RJ) Telecom Circle, proposes to engage 30 Diploma holders in Engineering/Technology field for apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act 1961 for a period of one year. The proposed engagement of apprentices in Business Areas (BA) of BSNL Rajasthan Telecom Circle 1. Name of the Post: Diploma Apprentices 2. No of Post: 30 3. Monthly Stipend: Rs. 8000/- per month per apprentice. 4. Educational Qualification: Pass out of Diploma course in Engineering/Technology field recognized by AICTE or GOI. 5. Eligibility Criteria for Application: Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply. The candidate must have passed their Diploma course in Engineering/Technology field recognized by AICTE or GOI. Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship and/or having one year or more experience are not eligible to apply.

Age Limit: Maximum age of the candidate will be 25 years. Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/PWD and 3 years of OBC candidates is as per government provisions/rules.
Selection Procedure
1. The candidate can apply to any BSNL Business Area from Table A below. However, preference for selection will be given to the candidate residing in concerned associated SSA/Districts coming under that Business Area (BA).The vacancies left out after consideration of the preference may be allotted to the candidates residing in other district.
2. The selection criteria will be based on the merit of final percentage or marks obtained by the candidate in their Diploma.
3. The shortlisted candidates will be informed through email for document verification & joining if selected for apprenticeship for which the candidate has applied.

It took over the business of providing of telecom services and network management from the erstwhile Central Government Departments of Telecom Services (DTS) and Telecom Operations (DTO), with effect from 1st October' 2000 on going concern basis. The company provides telecom services throughout the country excluding Delhi & Mumbai. BSNL is a 100% Govt. of India owned Public Sector Undertaking with an authorized share capital of Rs.17,500 crores and paid up capital of Rs.12,500 crores comprising of Rs.5,000 crores of Equity and Rs.7,500 crores of Preference shares capital. Its total income during FY 2019-20 was Rs.18,907crores.
