Educational Qualification: M.Phil/Ph.D

Applications in prescribed format along with details of qualification, experience and contribution to profession/research are invited from Indian Nationals for the position of Director Examination, BPUT, Rourkela. The post is tenure basis initially for a period of 05 years only (subject to extension for another two years within maximum age limit of 60 years subject to satisfactory performance to be evaluated through a review committee). 1. Name of the Post: Director Examination

2. Pay Scale: Entry pay of Rs. 1,44,200 (Pay Level-14 as per ORSP(for Teachers of Engineering College/ Degree level Technical Institutions/ Universities) Rules 2019) with DA as admissible from time to time (relevant to pre-revised scale of Rs. 37,400-67,000+ AGP Rs.10,000 of Govt. of Odisha for the University). If a Professor from a Govt./Semi Govt. Institution is deployed in the same post, then his/her pay may be protected as per BPUT rules.

3. Essential Qualification and Eligibility criteria requirements (within last date of Application):

a) Must have Ph.D. degree in Engineering and Must have First Class or equivalent either at Bachelor's or Master's level in the relevant branch and (60% marks or 6.75 CGPA in aggregate shall be considered equivalent to first class if first class or division is not awarded by the concerned institution or the equivalence CGPA as notified by the concerned institution) (a copy of the notification must be attached for proof). and

b) Must have minimum 10 years of experience in Teaching/Research/industry in UGC/AICTE approved institution/organization/ industries. and Out of 10 years of above experience minimum 03 years of experience should be as Associate Professor or equivalent post. and

c) Must have at least 06(six) numbers of research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI/UGCIAICTE/Scoups indexed approved list of Journals and must have successfully produced at least 02 Ph.D. as Supervisor/Co-Supervisor as on the last date of the application OR Must have 10(ten) research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI/UGC/ AICTE/Scopus indexed approved list of Journals as on the last date of application.
