Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)

• Essential Qualification: MSc/MTech in Biotechnology/Life sciences or relevant stream of biological Sciences and as per ICMR norms.
• Experience: The ideal candidate should have experience in tissue culture, working with cancer cell lines, molecular cloning, recombinant protein purification, flow cytometry-based immunophenotyping, Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, ELISA, immunofluorescence, and in vivo mouse models of cancer invasion and metastasis.
• Age Limit: Upper Age Limit: 35 Years.

• Candidates will be shortlisted based on their merit, experiences and as per the requirements of the project.
• Shortlisted candidates will be informed of the interview which will be conducted through online mode.

• The position will be purely on contractual basis.
• Project Tenure: 1 Year and extendable to 3 years.
• Selected candidate may be permitted to register for the PhD program of BITS Pilani subject to fulfilling the requirements of the PhD qualification process as per the institute norms.
• Project Title: Targeting Hepatocellular Carcinoma and Tumour Microenvironment by Helminth Derived TGF-b Mimic 6 (TGM6).
• Principal Investigator: Dr. Shashi Prakash Singh, Department of Biological Sciences, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus.
• Funding Agency: Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
