Essential (as on 1 August 2025): A Bachelor's degree with at least one subject from Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or Zoology from a recognized university, OR a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry, or Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent institution.

Physical Standards:

  • Height (Male): UR/BC/EBC/SC - 163 cm; ST - 152.5 cm.
  • Height (Female): UR/BC/EBC/SC - 150 cm; ST - 145 cm.
  • Chest (Male only): Minimum 79 cm (without expansion) and 84 cm (with expansion), with a mandatory 5 cm expansion.
  • Third Gender candidates follow BC category norms. No chest measurement for females.
