Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited (BECIL), a Government of India Enterprise, has invited offline applications for recruitment to the post of Junior Clerk and Senior Technical Assistant. These positions are purely on a contract basis for the Coastal Aquaculture Authority, Chennai, and will be deployed at their office. Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Junior Clerk

• Essential Qualification: Any Degree from a recognized University (at least 60% marks) and Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute (w.p.m.) in either English or Hindi.
• Experience: Minimum 02 years of experience in clerical work. Working knowledge in Tally Accounting Software.
• Desirable Skills: Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint. Good communication, noting, and drafting letters in English.
• Age Limit: Maximum 30 Years (as on the closing date of application).
• Key Responsibilities: All clerical work related to the post, and any other work assigned by the Competent Authority.

Eligibility for Senior Technical Assistant

• Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Aquaculture or Zoology or Fisheries or Marine Biology from a recognized University or Equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 05 years of experience in the aquaculture field after acquiring the essential qualification.
• Desirable Skills:
  • Ph.D. in Fisheries Science/Aquaculture/Marine Biology/Biotechnology/Environmental Science/Life Science (First Class 60%).
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Good communication, noting, and drafting letters in English.
• Age Limit: Maximum 32 Years (as on the closing date of application).
• Key Responsibilities: Monitoring coastal aquaculture establishments, processing proposals, analyzing water quality, collecting samples, conducting surveys/training, and submitting reports.
