Educational Qualification:
1. Graduate in Life Science/Agri Business.
2. Knowledge in Livestock/Agriculture/Marketing/Financial services.
3. Two-Wheeler is must.
Desirable:
1. Post Graduate in Life Science / Agri Business with minimum of two years of experience in promoting livestock -based rural livelihoods and Agri Business.
2. Good communication skill especially local Khasi language, better writing skill along with competency in MS applications including word, excel and powerpoint.
3. Experience in collecting, compiling and analysis of primary data and writing of reports.
Pay Scale:
INR
12500/- Per Month

Eligible candidates are requested to walk in interview for the Project Assist int/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) position under the project entitled "Establishment of Piggery based FPO with Special Emphasis on Pig Health and Marketing" funded by NABARD, Shillong on 25/07/2025 at 10:30 am with a copy of detailed CV, photograph, covering letter clearly mentioning the post appl ed for and original documents for verification, for the following post. The post is temporary in nature and co-terminus with the project. No TA/DA and staying arrangement shall be provided for attending the interview.

The Central Agricultural University (CAU) was established under Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE) on 26th January, 1993 by the Central Agricultural University Act, 1992 (No.40 of 1992) of parliament with its headquarters at Imphal, Manipur. It is a fully residential university covering all the North-East Hill states under its jurisdiction except Assam. Like other Agricultural Universities of India, the CAU also has integrated programmes of teaching, research and extension education.
