Trade Apprentice, Technician Apprentice, Graduate Apprentice

Number of Vacancy: 39 Posts
Educational Qualification:
Trade (ITI) Apprentices: Candidates Should have Passed out trainees in the particular trade of NCVT pattern designated by Director General of Employment & Training (D.G.E.&T) and who have registered with Regional Directorate of Apprenticeship Training (RDAT), Chennai will only be considered for selection.
Technician (Diploma)/ Graduate (Degree) Apprentices: Candidates Should have Graduate/ degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Non – Engineering full time granted by a recognized University/ Institutions in relevant discipline. Diploma in Engineering / Technology in full time granted by a State Council or Board of Technical education Established by a State Government/ University/ Institutions in relevant discipline.
Pay Scale:
INR
7700-9000/- Per Month
Age Limit: 14-26 Years.

On July 25, 1948, Karaikudi, a hitherto bleak and desolate village in Tamil Nadu, wore a festive look. A mammoth crowd of more than a lakh people gathered to witness the ushering in of a new era in Indian science. It was the day the CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CSIR-CECRI) was founded at Karaikudi. The institute took root in the patriotic fervor of RM. Alagappa Chettiar, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Dr. Shanthi Swarup Bhatnagar. Fast forward five years, on January 14, 1953, the institution became a reality when Dr. S. Radhakrishnan dedicated CSIR-CECRI, the 12th national laboratory under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), to the nation.
