Coal India Limited (A Maharatna Company) invites application for engagement of one (01) full time Sr.Advisor (Finance) from retired executives of Finance discipline from CIL and its subsidiaries, CPSUs/PSUs/autonomous organization of Central/State Government on fixed tenure basis for a period of 06 months. VRS optees will not be considered.

3. Educational qualification: He should be a fellow/Associate Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India/ The Institute of Cost Accountants of India or PGDM from any of the IIMs with specialization of Finance.
4. Experience: He should have worked in any of the Top 500 Market Capitalized Company in India as Director (Finance)/Head of Finance/CFO.
5. Nature of work: To provide assistance in financial matters of CIL and subsidiaries to Chairman, CIL.
6. Remuneration and other Benefits: Rs. 1,50,000/

Coal India Limited (CIL) the state-owned coal mining corporate came into being in November 1975. With a modest production of 79 Million Tonnes (MTs) at the year of its inception CIL, today is the single largest coal producer in the world and one of the largest corporate employer with manpower of 2,59,016 (as of 1st April 2021). CIL functions through its subsidiaries in 85 mining areas spread over eight (8) states of India. Coal India Limited has 345 mines (as on 1st April, 2021) of which 151 are underground, 172 open cast and 22 mixed mines. CIL is presently operating 13 coal washeries, with a total washing capacity of 35.38 MTY (Out of these, 11 are coking coal washeries and balance 2 are non-coking) and also manages other establishments like workshops, hospitals, and so on.
