Educational Qualification: M.Sc, M.E/M.Tech, MS
A ‘Walk-in-Interview’ will be held at this Institute on 31st March 2022 at 1000 Hrs for selection of a suitable candidate for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the DIAT sponsored Research Project entitled “Numerical and Experimental Investigation of Polymer Composite for application in Electric Vehicles”. Details/eligibility conditions for selection are given hereunder: -
1. Name of Post/ Fellowship: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
2. No. of Post: 01
3. Essential: M.Tech/ MSc/ MS (Research) or equivalent in any field of Science/ Engineering with Projects/ Experience in electronic materials
4. Desirable:
Understanding of the physics of electronic materials Good analytical skills and proficiency in C or C++, Python or MATLAB Strong fundamentals in Numerical methods Excellent writing and communication skills
5. Additional skills (Optional): Candidates with GATE/CSIR/UGC NET qualification will be preferred. Experimental skills in processing polymer composites
6. Monthly Stipend Payable: 31,000/- (Consolidated) Per month(@)
7. Tenure: The position is purely temporary and is for a period of 02 Years OR co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.

An ‘Aptitude Test’ for ascertaining the aptitude of the candidates for research will be conducted by an Expert Committee during the ‘Interview’.
1. :A Brief bio-data duly signed, Cover letter, Application form (available on Institute website), Proof of Date of Birth, M.E/M.Tech mark sheets and PhD degree certificate may be sent to the email ID of the Principal Investigator & CoPrincipal Investigator ([email protected], [email protected], hod_diat.ac.in) in PDF form as a single file, with a subject titled “Application for JRF” on or before 25th March 2022.
2. Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility conditions for Junior Research Fellowship as mentioned in may attend the ‘Walk-in-Interview’ at this Institute on 31st March 2022 at 1000Hrs, along-with their original Certificates/Testimonials etc (together with a set of attested copies of each) for detailed scrutiny.
3. Candidates working in Government/Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous Bodies should produce a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the present employer. No TA will be paid for attending the ‘Walk-in-Interview’.
