Educational Qualification: First Class M.Sc. with NET (JRF/LS) in Life Science/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology Or First Class B.Tech with valid GATE qualification in Life Science/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology Or M.E./M.Tech in Life Science/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Microbiology in First Class at Graduate and Post Graduate level (M.E./M.Tech. is exempted from NET/GATE as per guidelines.)

Experience: Experience in handling microbial culture, GUT microbes, mammalian cell culture, molecular biology techniques viz. Designing probes, qPCR, western blotting.

Age Limit: Upper age limit: 28 years for JRF as on the date of interview. The upper age limit shall be relaxable to the candidates belonging to SC/ST (5 years) and OBC (3 years).

Selection Procedure

Candidates will be selected based on written test/personal interview/medical test/ walkin interview. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the given criteria.

Walk-in-Interview on 5th July 202 for the Award of DRDO Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)

1. Reporting time is 0800h-0900h on the date of Interview, at Main Gate Reception, INMAS, Timarpur, Delhi. Latecomers will not be allowed at any cost.

2. Written Test may be conducted for JRFs from 0930-1030 hrs. (depending on the number of candidates appearing on the date of interview) and only qualified candidates will be interviewed on the same day.

3. Application form can be downloaded from the website www.drdo.gov.in and should be brought duly filled along with complete bio-data on the date of interview. (Candidates willing to participate may send prior information by email on [email protected], but application forms should be submitted at the time of walk-in-interview).
