Educational Qualification:
Environmental Engineer: Bachelor's degree in Engineering in related field, from a recognized University or Institution with eight years' experience in pollution control or related field subject to after acquiring the Bachelor's Degree. or Master's degree in Engineering* in related field, from a recognized University or Institution with six years' experience in pollution control or related field subject to after acquiring the Master's Degree.
Additional Director (Scientific): Master's degree in Science having at least fifteen years' experience in pollution control or related subjects. or Doctorate in Science having at least ten years of experience in pollution control or related subjects.
Senior Scientist L-II (Scientist-D): Master's degree in Science and having at least thirteen years of experience in pollution control or related subjects. or Doctorate in Science.
Senior Scientist L-I (Scientist-C): Master's degree in Science and having atleast eight years of experience in pollution control or related subjects.
Scientific Assistant: Bachelor degree in science and experience in laboratory works.
Principal Private Secretary:
(i) A Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University/ Institution:
(ii) passing the test in English Shorthand and typing at a minimum speed of 120 wpm and 40 wpm on computer respectively; or
Passing of test in Hindi Shorthand and typing at a minimum speed of 120 wpm and 35 wpm on computer respectively.
Steno Grade-I:
(a) A Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University/ Institution;
(b) Passing of the test in English Shorthand and Typing at a minimum speed of 120 wpm and
40 wpm on computer respectively; Or Passing of test in Hindi Shorthand and typing at a minimum speed of 120 wpm and 35 wpm on the computer respectively;
(c) Not less than 5 years of experience as a Stenographer in a Govt./ Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous body/Private firm of repute.
Section Officer: Bachelor's degree from a recognized University/Institution.
Assistant Section Officer: Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university. Desirable: Basic Knowledge of Computer.
System Analyst: Master's degree in Computer application / Computer Science or M. Tech (with specialization in computer application) or BE/B.Tech in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Technology of a recognized university or equivalent.

25500-215900/- Per Month

Under Section 4 of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Section 6 of the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) is empowered to perform the functions of the State Pollution Control Board for all Union Territories. However, Section 4(4) of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Section 6 of the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 provides that CPCB may delegate all or any of its powers and functions of a State Board in a UT under the said Acts to such person or body of persons as the Central Government may specify. The CPCB has delegated all its powers and functions as a State Board in respect of the UT of Delhi to a committee of officials as specified by the Central Government in March, 1991. This committee has been reconstituted on 14th June 2002 vide notification No. B-12015/7/92-AS.
