1. Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess the following qualifications as on 01 March 2026:
- For Technical Posts (Executive Director, GM, AGM): Four years full-time Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) in disciplines like Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Marine, Civil, Production, or Naval Architecture.
- For GM (Tech-Commercial): Engineering Degree OR Full-time Graduation with 2 years MBA/PG Diploma in Material Management/Supply Chain.
- For Senior Manager (Admin): Full-time Graduate in any discipline (Desirable: MBA/PG Diploma in Management).
- Important: Only full-time degrees are accepted. Part-time/Correspondence courses are not valid.
2. Post-Qualification Experience
- Executive Director: 26 years of experience in Shipbuilding/Design/Repair.
- General Manager: 22 years of experience in relevant fields.
- AGM: 20 years of experience.
- Senior Manager: 11 years of experience in General Administration/Event Management.
- Candidates from Govt./PSU must have 2 years experience in the immediate lower grade.
