State Tax Inspector

Number of Vacancy: 323 Posts (Gen-139, EWS-25, SEBC-85, SC-23, ST-51)

Educational Qualification:
(i) Possess a Bachelor’s degree obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government; A candidate who has appeared or intends to appear or awaiting the result of the final semester/year of the required qualification, can apply, but the candidate has to qualify and submit the required qualification as advertised before the last date of submitting the application for mains examination. A Candidate who fails to produce the proof of passing the Bachelor’s degree Examination shall not be eligible for admission to Mains Examination.

(ii) Possess the basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules 1967;

(iii) Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Pay Scale:

39900-126600/- Per Month

Age Limit: Maximum 35 Years.
