Educational Qualification:
- Essential: Relevant Engineering/Technology Diploma or Bachelor's degree in the relevant engineering branch with prescribed experience, or a CITS/NCIC certificate in the same/relevant trade with required field experience.
- Mandatory: Basic Computer Knowledge is compulsory for every post.
- Note: Exact qualification and experience requirements differ by trade group. Candidates must refer to Appendix-A of the official notification for their chosen group.
Experience:As prescribed for the respective trade group (details in Appendix-A of the official notification).
Skills:Technical knowledge in the relevant trade, supervisory skills, basic computer proficiency.
Age Limit (as on 03.08.2026):
- Minimum: 18 years.
- Maximum: 36 years (with relaxations as per government norms).
Salary:
- Initial (First 5 years): Fixed ₹40,800 per month.
- After 5 years: Regular Pay Level-5 (₹29,200 - ₹92,300) + allowances.
Selection Procedure:
- Computer-Based Recruitment Test (CBRT/OMR). (1/4th mark deducted for each wrong answer).
- Document Verification.
Final merit list is based on the written examination performance; no separate interview.

- Reserved (SEBC/SC/ST/EWS/PwD/Ex-Servicemen) & All Women: ₹400
Fee is refunded to candidates who actually appear for the examination.
