Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Degree: Full-time Engineering Graduation (B.E./B.Tech) in the relevant discipline from an AICTE/UGC recognized university/institute.
- Passing Date: Candidates must have completed their degree after 01.04.2023. (Candidates passing out before this date are ineligible).
- Minimum Marks:
- UR/OBC-NC/EWS: 60% aggregate marks.
- SC/ST/PwBD: 50% aggregate marks.
- CGPA Conversion: If the university provides CGPA/GPA, conversion to percentage must be done using the institute's formula. A certificate of conversion is required. Fractions are ignored (e.g., 49.99% is considered less than 50%).
Age Limit
- Age as on: 10.03.2026 (Cut-off date for application).
- Minimum Age: 18 Years.
- Maximum Age: 25 Years.
Age Relaxation
- SC/ST: 5 years relaxation.
- OBC-NC: 3 years relaxation.
- PwBD: 10 years relaxation (as per Govt. guidelines for VH/HH/OH/MD categories).
Mandatory Requirements
- NATS Registration: Candidates must be registered and approved on the NATS 2.0 portal by the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT).
- Experience: No prior apprenticeship or work experience of 1+ year is allowed.
- Disability: PwBD candidates must have 40%+ disability in specified categories.
Selection Process
This recruitment is NOT based on an exam. It is a Direct Recruitment based on merit.
- Merit-Based Screening: Applications are screened based on aggregate marks (percentage) in the qualifying degree.
- Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted for Document Verification (DV) in a 1:5 ratio (5 candidates for every 1 vacancy).
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for physical document verification via email.
- Final Engagement: Selection is subject to acceptance of the tri-partite contract on NATS, medical certificate, and police verification.
- Rejection: Incomplete or ineligible applications will be rejected.
Stipend Details
Candidates engaged as Graduate Apprentice Trainees will receive a monthly stipend of ₹25,000.
- ₹20,500 paid by HPCL.
- ₹4,500 paid by the Government of India (GOI) via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
