Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Assistant Staff Nurse

• Essential Qualification: B.Sc. Nursing with 50% marks/GNMA Grade Nursing Diploma with 50% marks from recognized University/Institutions.
• Gender: Female Candidate only.
• Domicile: Himachal Bonafide.
• Registration: Registered with HPNRC, Shimla-06.
• Experience: Candidates with working experience in respect of Essential Qualification(s) and Experience, if any, as on 16.01.2026.

Salary & Age Limit

• Salary: Fixed Monthly Honorarium of ₹25,000/- per month for a period of 5 years (purely on engagement basis).
• Age Limit: 21 to 32 years (as on 01-01-2025).

Selection Process

The selection will be based on a Computer Based Test (CBT) or Written Screening Test of 120 marks consisting of 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) to be completed in 1.5 hours. The syllabus includes subjects related to the essential qualification (85 questions), General Knowledge & Current Affairs (10 questions), and General Science/Reasoning/English/Hindi (25 questions). Minimum qualifying marks are 45% for General and 40% for reserved categories.
