Educational Qualification & Experience:

  • IT Professional-IV: Master's (M.Sc./M.Tech.) in Computer Science/IT/Computer Engineering/Data Science or equivalent with at least three years of relevant experience. Strong proficiency in Linux/Apache, relational and NoSQL databases, Python, R, SQL, JavaScript, Node.js/Java, API integration, and Geoportal development is required.
  • Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Master's degree in Agricultural Physics/Agrometeorology/Agricultural Engineering/Geoinformatics/Remote Sensing & GIS/Environmental Sciences/Atmospheric Sciences/Meteorology/Civil Engineering/Electronics or equivalent with 4/5 years Bachelor’s degree having 1st Division or 60% marks (OGPA >7.5). For candidates with 3-year Bachelor's and 2-year Master's, NET/GATE qualification and 2 years of research experience are required. Ph.D., Professional Master's degree, and integrated degree holders are exempted from NET. Experience in remote sensing, crop modelling, and machine learning is desirable.

Experience:Minimum 3 years for IT Professional-IV. Minimum 2 years for SRF (if applicable).

Age Limit (as on the interview date):

  • IT Professional-IV: 21 to 45 years.
  • Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Maximum 35 years for men, 40 years for women.
  • Relaxation: SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwD (10 years).

Salary (Consolidated):



  • IT Professional-IV: ₹60,000 per month (with 3% annual increment).
  • Senior Research Fellow (SRF): ₹37,000 + HRA (1st & 2nd year), ₹42,000 + HRA (3rd year).
