Indian Institute of Management Bangalore invites applications for the position of Manager – Contracts & Tendering. At IIMB, contracts and tendering management plays a key role in ensuring, developing, and implementing procedures for effective contract and tender management and administration of the same as per relevant government and institute guidelines.

1. Position - Manager - Contracts and Tendering

2. Key Skills / Abilities/Knowledge required:

a) Attention to detail and the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies

b) Excellent reading and language comprehension

c) Ability to work with a team at all levels of the Institution

d) Effective ability to negotiate and execute contracts

e) Proven management and leadership skills

f) Exceptional communication skills (oral and written)

g) Knowledge in legal documentation of contracts/tenders


3. Educational qualification and Experience:

a) Candidate should be a First-Class Graduate with a master’s degree or a bachelor’s degree with a degree in law or company secretaryship.

b) Should have a minimum of 14 years of post-qualification experience of which at least 5 years should have been in contracts management and administration.

c) General legal knowledge is highly desirable. Candidates with additional degrees in law or company secretaryship would be given preference.

d) Fluency in English, Hindi; and ability to communicate in local language – Kannada would be an added advantage.

e) Relevant experience in PSU’s government departments, autonomous institutions, CPWD is preferred.

f) Persons working in Govt organizations/ Autonomous bodies / PSUs may forward the application through proper channel.
