Educational Qualification: M.Phil/Ph.D

Candidates of Indian nationality are invited to appear for the Walk-in test I interview for project appointments under the following project. Appointment shall be on contractual basis on consolidated pay renewable yearly or upto the duration of the project, whichever is earlier.

3. Qualifications: Ph.D. (Applied or Polymer Chemistry) with three years of research experience. The candidate should have experience in the area of polymer synthesis and characterization. Candidates with prior knowledge in the area of thermosetting resins, adhesives, and fire- retardant materials will prove beneficial for the Project.

4. Title of the Project: High performance non-halogenated adhesive formulation for outermost aluminized lass fabric layer in fire protective clothing (RP04166G)

5. Deptt/.Centre: Department of Material Science & Engineering

6. Duration of the Project: Upto: 31/10/2024

1. The candidates who fulfill the above qualifications/experience should appear for the interview. 2. No candidate, who is already employed at the Institute / IRD shall be interviewed unless his/her application has been duly forwarded by their concerned establishment/sections. 5% relaxation of marks may be granted to the SC/ST Candidates. In case of selection of a retired/superannuated government employee, his/her salary will be fixed as per prevailing IRD norms.
