5. Project title: Diamond-based Quantum Technologies under Quantum ITs with Nitrogenvacancy and magnetic resonance.

6. About the project: The project is on the development of hybrid quantum systems with a focus is on experimental quantum technology development.

7. Essential Qualifications & Experience: 

a) PhD. Practical knowledge of developing devices in the field of photonics; that includes design and FEM/FDTD simulations, CMOS compatible wafer-scale device fabrication and characterization. Hands-on experiences in thin-film processing, wafer-scale device processing and characterization tools: ALD, CVD, Electron beam lithography, Optical lithography, ICP-RIE, advanced semiconductor metrology tools for surface/interface/composition studies like SEM(EDX), TEM, XRD, XPS, PL, UV-VIS-IR spectroscopy, FTIR, AFM.

b) Hand-on experience in working on an experimental project. Proven record of publication of research work in high impact journals. Additionally, a background in various quantum technologies like single-photon sources, quantum sensing, quantum computing will be useful.

8. Job Profile: The job is for developing quantum technologies. The candidate will have to carry out design, fabrication and characteristization of chip scale device. Further it will be expected that the candidate will be able to train and mentor phd students and masters students in addition to carrying out individual research.

9. Pay Details: Consolidated salary 54000 + HRA (if applicable) p.m.
