IIT Dharwad Invites Application for Senior Project Officer, Senior Project Engineer and Project Engineer Recruitment 2022

IIT Dharwad is an Institute of National Importance created by an Act of Parliament in 2016. IIT Dharwad has been steadily establishing its operations in its present campus while at the same time, master plan development and construction of permanent campus infrastructure are also in progress. To cater the Institute’s temporary requirement under a project in the Department of Electrical Engineering; IIT Dharwad intends to hold a Selection Process for the following temporary position:

1. Post Name: Senior Project Officer (On Contract)

2. No of Post: 01

3. Essential Qualification: Post Graduate degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent selected through a process described through any one of the following: a. Scholars who are selected through GATE b. The Selection process through National level examination conducted by IIT. c. Candidate should have at least three of experience in relevant field of speech technology development

4. Desirable Qualification: Strong programming skills, Knowledge in Signal Processing, Machine Learning, and Deep learning are preferable

5. Consolidated Emoluments: ₹ 55,000/-+ 16% House Rent Allowance per month

6. Duration of the tenure: Maximum 3 years

7. Tenure of appointment: The appointment for the above contractual position will be initially for one year, which can be further extended subject to satisfactory performance, availability of funds in the project, and requirement in the project. The appointment will be co-terminus with the project

3. Essential Qualification: Post Graduate degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent selected through a process described through any one of the following: a. Scholars who are selected through GATE b. The Selection process through National level examination conducted by IIT. c. Additional experience desirable

4. Desirable Qualification: Strong programming skills, Knowledge in Signal Processing, Machine Learning, and Deep learning are preferable

5. Consolidated Emoluments: ₹ 35,000/-+ 16% House Rent Allowance per month

6. Duration of the tenure: Maximum 3 years

7. Tenure of appointment: The appointment for the above contractual position will be initially for one year, which can be further extended subject to satisfactory performance, availability of funds in the project, and requirement in the project. The appointment will be co-terminus with the project

Scholars who are selected through GATE b. The Selection process through National level examination conducted by IIT

4. Desirable Qualification: Strong programming skills, Knowledge in Signal Processing, Machine Learning, and Deep learning are preferable

5. Consolidated Emoluments: ₹ 25,000/-+ 16% House Rent Allowance per month

6. Duration of the tenure: Maximum 3 years

7. Tenure of appointment: The appointment for the above contractual position will be initially for one year, which can be further extended subject to satisfactory performance, availability of funds in the project, and requirement in the project. The appointment will be co-terminus with the project

Selection Procedure

2. The test and interview will be conducted online. Mere fulfilment of minimum eligibility will not bestow the right for shortlisting.

3. IIT Dharwad reserves the right to screen and shortlist candidates by introducing higher benchmarks.

4. Emails will be sent to all shortlisted candidates. If we do not get project staff with the required qualification, others will be employed to produce equivalent man hours.
