Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
Junior Research Fellow
- Pathway A – Post Graduate Candidates: Master's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Chemical Engineering/Technology, Physics, Applied Physics, Solid State Physics/Technology, Electronic Materials/Materials, Nanotechnology, Materials Science/Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical, VLSI/Microelectronics, or Instrumentation Engineering & Technology with first class (minimum 65% marks or 7.0 CPI) in M.Tech/ME/MS along with valid GATE or NET qualification, and first class (minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CPI) in B.Tech/BE, 12th, and 10th class.
- Pathway B – Under Graduate Candidates: B.Tech/BE in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Nanotechnology, Materials Science/Engineering, or Engineering Physics with 75% marks or 8.0 CPI in B.Tech/BE from institutes other than IITs/IISc, and 7.0 CPI from IITs and IISc, with a valid GATE score, and first class (minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CPI) in 12th and 10th class.
- Desired Experience: Working/research experience in design, fabrication, testing, packaging, memory devices, RRAM/Artificial Neurons, or optoelectronic devices will be given preference.
- Age Limit: Maximum 32 years. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/women/PwD candidates as per Government of India rules.
