Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – Option 1 (M.Tech holders): M.Tech in VLSI, Embedded System, Microelectronics, Electronics System, Communication System, Instrumentation, or Computer Science Engineering from a recognised university. Minimum CPI of 6.5 (60%) with a valid GATE score within the last 5 years is mandatory.
  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – Option 2 (B.Tech / B.Sc / M.Sc holders): B.Tech, B.Sc(Engg.), or M.Sc in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Instrumentation, or Computer Science & Engineering from a recognised university. Minimum CPI of 7.5 (70%) with a valid GATE score within the last 5 years is mandatory.
  • Age Limit: Maximum 32 years for candidates holding an M.Tech degree; maximum 28 years for candidates holding B.Tech / B.Sc(Engg.) / M.Sc degrees. Age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, Women, and PwD candidates as per Government of India rules.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  1. Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their submitted application form, academic performance (CPI / percentage), and valid GATE score. Only shortlisted candidates will be intimated on 23 October 2026.
  2. Written Test: Shortlisted candidates must appear for a written test scheduled on 3 November 2026.
