Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (IIT Ropar) Invites Application for Project Associate Recruitment 2022

Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of Project Associate to work in DST sponsored Technology Innovation Hub at IIT Ropar in the framework of National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM - ICPS).

1. Name of the Post: Project Associate

2. Number of positions: 02

3. Location: IIT Ropar, Punjab

4. Type of job: Full time (on contract)

5. Duration: Initially for one year. Contract can be extended based on satisfactory performance.

6. Qualifications The applicant must meets of at least one of the following two criteria.

a) Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or Technology and Master degree in an allied discipline with good academic record (with a GATE/CSIR-NET qualified score) with a minimum of 60% marks (or 6.5 Grade points out of 10) (55% marks for SC/ST).

b) Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Civil engineering (4 years program) with a minimum of 75 percent marks/7.5 CPI with valid GATE score except for graduates from IITs with a minimum CGPA of 8.0. Without GATE score will be consider on reduced fellowship as per DST norms. The relevant experience in industry/academia/research will be given the preference.

7. Desirable skills: Good knowledge of the subjects of fluid mechanics, water treatment. Excellent writing ability and oral communication skills, and the ability to do multi-task, effectively

8. Remuneration: Rs 31,000/- + HRA. Suitable accommodation on institute campus may be provided based on availability.
