Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata (IISER Kolkata) Invites Application for Research Fellow Recruitment 2022

Applications are invited from the Indian Citizens for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position (one) in the DST sponsored India-Czech Joint Research Project entitled “Porous Conjugated Polymers for All Polymer Solar Cells” under the guidance of Prof. Sanjio S. Zade, Department of Chemical Sciences.

1. Position : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

2. No of Post : 01

3. Essential Qualification: M.Sc./MS Degree in Chemistry along with a consistently good academic record in previous examinations. Qualification in at least one of these exams: CSIR-UGC NET (including LS); GATE; national-level exams conducted by DST /DBT /DAE /DOS /DRDO /MHRD /ICAR /ICMR /IIT /IISc /IISER.

4. Remuneration: Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA (if applicable).

5. Tenure: Initially for one year, with the possibility of extension till the completion of the project (Oct 2023), depending on the availability of funds and satisfactory performance.

Selection Procedure

1. Interview: The short-listed applicants will be invited (via email) for an online interview.

2. No TA / DA will be provided to the candidate for the interview. The decision of the selection committee will be final. The fellowship may be terminated with a 30-day notice before completion of the tenure if performance to date is not deemed satisfactory.
