Sub.: - Filling up One post of Sr. Executive (E-1)/Executive CE-O) at IT Centre LNew Delhi in IRCTC on deputation basis for handling the work related to IT procurement.
Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd. is desirous to fill up One (01) post of Executive (E-0)/Sr. Executive (E-1) at IT Centre/New Delhi in IRCTC, on deputation basis, from Railway officials, on usual terms of deputation.

4. Scale of pay:- As per the DPE guidelines, Central Government employees, on their selection for deputation would be eligible to draw their pay, perks and allowance of their parent cadre only along with prescribed deputation allowance. Medical Allowance (outdoor)-7% of basic pay of opted for Medical facilities of IRCTC& reimbursement of Medical expenses for hospitalization. Uniform fitment Allowance - 7% of the basic pay. Lease/ HRA at the prescribed rate, etc.
5. from the Stores/Commercial/S&T/Civil/Mechanical Department of Indian Railways with experience in dealing with e-tenders/procurement through GeM and working in revised CDA scale of Rs 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4200 /Leve1-6 (7th CPC) OR GP Rs.4600/Leve1- 7 (7th CPC).
6. Experience: The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in e-tendering/procurement through GeM in various capacities.

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd. (IRCTC) is a “Mini Ratna (Category-I)” Central Public Sector Enterprise under Ministry of Railways, Government of India. IRCTC was incorporated on 27 th September, 1999 as an extended arm of the Indian Railways to upgrade, professionalize and manage the catering and hospitality services at stations, on trains and other locations and to promote domestic and international tourism through development of budget hotels, special tour packages, information & commercial publicity and global reservation systems. The authorized capital of the company is 250 crores and paid up capital is 160 crores, fully subscribed by Ministry of Railways, Government of India. It’s registered and Corporate Office is situated at New Delhi.
Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC) headquarters is located in New Delhi. IRCTC is a subsidiary of the Indian Railways that handles the catering, tourism and online ticketing operations of the Indian railways.
Online ticketing: Passengers can book ticket online as well as through mobile phones. In addition to e-tickets, IRCTC also offers I-tickets (These are like regular tickets except that they are booked online and delivered by post).
To make e-tickets booking easier, IRCTC launched a scheme called Rolling Deposit Scheme (RDS). Rolling Deposit Scheme is a hassle-free e-ticket booking scheme allowing passengers to reserve seats against advance money kept with the corporation. Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd has also added flights and hotels booking facilities to their line of online reservation services.
Tourism: IRCTC organizes budget and deluxe package tours for domestic and foreign tourists. Luxury tourism packages are also available, that involve special luxury trains such as Palace on Wheels, Royal Orient Express, Golden Chariot, Deccan Odyssey, Royal Rajasthan on Wheels, Buddhist Circuit Train.
IRCTC also offers adventure tourism packages that include water sports, adventure and wildlife treks, etc. Provisions are also made for customizing tours as per specific requirements.
Tatkal Booking: Under this scheme, passengers who plan their journey at short notice can book their tickets in almost all Mail/Express trains through the Indian railways internet portal. All Tatkal bookings can be done for trains departing within 48 hours.
