Indian Rubber Manufacturers Research Association, an Autonomous Institute under Dept. for Promotion of Industry&Internal Trade (DPIT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt of India, is a leading R&D institution established in 1958 to cater services to Rubber and Allied Industry. IRMRA is having its headquarters and Laboratory in Thane, Maharashtra, and branch laboratories at Sri City, AP, Chennai, TN, and SARPOL, Kolkata,| WB. IRMRA is looking for dynamic young professionals for various posts and Applications are invited for the following technical posts. 1. Post Name: Joint Director (Research) - Unreserved (Direct Recruitment) 2. No. of Post: 01 3. The scale of Pay: Level 13, A. as per 7tr' CPC (Rs. 131100-216600) Grade Pay Rs 8900, Group A 4. Qualification: M.Tech in Rubber Technology /Polymer Technology/ M.Sc in Polymer Science /Material Science from institutes of repute. Minimum 60% marks or minimum cumulative CGPA of 7.0 out of 10 OR 3.5 out of 5.0 at Master degree. 5. Experience: Minimum 12 years of working experience for M.Tech & 14 years for M.Sc in Research and development in the field of Rubber/Polymer science and technology. Minimum of 03 research papers patents or any significant achievement in technology development. OR OR Ph.D. in Rubber Technology/ Polymer Technology/ Chemistry (Rubber polymers) /Polymer Science /Material Science (Rubber/ Polymers) from institutes of repute. Minimum 60% marks or minimum cumulative CGPA of 7.0 out of 10 OR 3.5 out of 5.0 at Master degree (M.Tech/M.Sc) and/or M.Phil level exam. Experience: Minimum 08 years working experience in Research and development in the field of Rubber/Polymer science and technology (Excluding the duration of Ph.D.). Minimum of 03 research papers development. patents or any significant achievement in technology 6. Desirable: Experience in Compound Development, Product Development, Project Planning and Execution, Failure Mode Effect Analysis of rubber Products, Testing and characterization of rubber/ polymer, Test method/ SOP development. Exemplary Computer skills including Presentation skills, Report writing skills. He/she should be able to promote and facilitate leading-edge research including collaborative and inter-disciplinary research in rubber and allied technologies and acquiring research-funded projects from financial institutes. He/ she should be able to develop network between IRMRA and Researchers in the field of public/private sector, locally/nationally/internationally. Experience in ISO/IEC 17025 NABL accreditation) also for accreditation as per ISO/ IEC 17020. 7. Place of posting Head Office, Thane, Maharashtra / IRMRA regional centers

f. Candidates should ensure that they submit all the documents mentioned above. In the event of failure of the candidate to submit any of the required documents as mentioned above within the stipulated period, the candidature of such candidate shall be liable to be rejected.
g. The envelope containing the application should be prescribed with the name of the post applied for e.g. "Application for tlre post of on the top right corner of the envelope (Mandatory).
h. Closing Date regarding receipt of application is 3l st January 2022.

Indian Rubber Manufacturers Research Association (IRMRA) was established in the year 1959, It’s a prime Research and Development Organization to serve the Rubber to allied industries. The Association is affiliated to the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, of Government of India.
The quality policy of Association is focused on enhancing the technical competency of rubber and allied manufacturers and user by imparting training and provide reliable, dependable and traceable testing & evaluation service to our customer.
The Government of India sponsored the Association for supporting Research & Development to improve rubber industries for providing quality rubber products.The main objective of Association is to design & development of rubber compositing and process suitable for making rubber dame, by using different components of rubber dam, to develop and evaluate prototype rubber dams.
They also provide various services for testing like Automotive Tyre Testing, Rubber Processing, Chemical Testing, Physical Testing, Instrumentation Testing, Processing & Evaluation Services, etc.
