Educational Qualification: Diploma
Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement as apprentices under The Apprentices (Amendment) Act, 1973 (as amended from time to time).
1. Post Name: Technician Apprentice
2. No. of apprentices to be engaged: 15
3. Qualification:
a. Computer Engineering - Diploma in Computer Engineering
b. Civil Engineering - Diploma in Civil Engineering
c. Electrical Engineering - Diploma in Electrical Engineering
d. Electronics & Communication - Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering
e. Mechanical Engineering - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
f. Instrumentation & Control - Diploma in Instrumentation & Control Engineering
4. Stipend: 9400/- p.m. (Consolidated) for Graduate Apprentices (Degree holder).
5. Period of Training:
The duration of the apprenticeship is one year for all apprentices. The Institute shall have no obligation to give regular employment to apprentices. The apprentices shall have no right to claim regular employment from Institute on the basis of this apprenticeship at any point of time.

Selection Procedure
1. Selection will be solely on merit based on percentage of marks in respective Degree/ Diploma in engineering. Any form of canvassing will result in cancellation of candidature.

1. Interested candidates are requested to enroll themselves on MHRD NATS Portal i.e. National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) http://portal.mhrdnats.gov.in/ and after successfully enrolment, they should visit IPR website http://www.ipr.res.in/advertisements.html and apply online
2. Online link will be activated on 7.12.2021 and the last date for filling online application is 21.12.2021 till 23.59 pm.
3. Candidates need not send any hard copy of application form to the Institute.
4. Please keep a print out of complete filled online application form for future reference, which must be produced along with selfattested supporting documents such as age proof, qualifications etc. at the time of document verification, if shortlisted.
5. Addendum / deletion/ corrigendum (If any) shall be posted on the Institute’s website only i.e. http://www.ipr.res.in/advertisements.html

Institute for Plasma Research is an autonomous R & D organization under the authority of Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India situated near west banks of river Sabarmati in Gujarat, India. This institute is largely involved in theoretical and experimental studies in plasma science including basic plasma physics, magnetically confined hot plasmas and plasma technologies for industrial application. The institute owns two operational tokamaks (a machine for controlling thermonuclear fusion) - ADITYA and Steady State Tokamak (SST) - 1. FCIPT, ITER-India and CPP-IPR, located in Gandhinagar and Guwahati are three divisions under IPR.
