Eligibility Criteria for Non-PG Junior Resident

1. Educational Qualification

• MBBS degree (including completion of Internship) recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).

2. Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 40 years (reckoned on the date of interview).
• Age Relaxation: Up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates having domicile of Uttar Pradesh, and for widowed/divorced/handicapped persons as per Government rules.

3. Other Requirements

• Candidates can apply only up to 5 years from their internship completion date.
• Reservation applies as per UP Government rules. Only candidates with UP domicile are eligible for reservation benefits.
• State Medical Registration is mandatory before joining.
• Maximum service allowed: 36 months total (18 months in one department).
