Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Assistant Engineer (Civil) - Water Resources Department

  • Essential Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university; AMIE (Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers), Kolkata India, recognized as equivalent qualification.

Eligibility for Assistant Engineer (Civil) - Public Health Engineering Department

  • Essential Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • Experience: Duties include survey, design, drawing, execution, and operation-maintenance of various water supply and sewage disposal schemes.

Eligibility for Assistant Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) - Water Resources Department

  • Essential Qualification: Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university; AMIE (Institution of Engineers, Kolkata) India as equivalent qualification.

Eligibility for Assistant Agricultural Engineer

  • Essential Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering from a recognized university, at least Second Class.
  • Experience: Duties involve conducting agricultural mechanization activities and training on agricultural equipment.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Maximum Age: 40 years (as on 01.01.2026)
  • Age Relaxation: Applicable as per government rules for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD), government employees, and ex-servicemen.
