Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification

  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or allied subjects from a recognized University.
  • Knowledge of Hindi at High School level (Class 10) is mandatory.
  • Candidates should have studied Hindi or Sanskrit at matriculation level or above.
  • Degree must be from a UGC-recognized University or Institution.
  • Valid domicile certificate of Madhya Pradesh is required for reserved category candidates.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience in agricultural extension work.
  • Knowledge of farming practices and rural development.
  • Working knowledge of agricultural schemes and programs.
  • Computer proficiency and MS Office knowledge.

Experience

  • No prior experience is mandatory for direct recruitment candidates.

The selection will be conducted through a competitive examination process:

  • Preliminary Examination: Objective type, 100 questions, 200 marks, 2 hours. Negative marking of 1/3rd applies. Qualifying nature.
  • Main Examination: Written examination on subjects related to agriculture and extension.
  • Interview/Personality Test: Qualified candidates from the main examination will be called for an interview.
  • Final selection will be based on combined performance in the main examination and interview.
  • Merit list will be prepared category-wise.
