• For All Candidates:
  • A recognised Dental qualification included in the First or Third Schedule of the Dentists Act, 1948 (e.g., BDS or equivalent).
  • Registration with a State Dental Council (Manipur or equivalent).
• Age Limit (as on 23 September 2026):
  • General: 21 to 38 years.
  • SC/ST: Relaxation of 5 years.
  • OBC: Relaxation of 3 years.
  • PwBD: Relaxation of 10 years.
• Additional Requirements:
  • Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
  • Must be able to speak Manipuri (Meetei/Meitei Lon) or any recognised tribal dialect of Manipur.
  • Must satisfy the prescribed residence requirements of Manipur (Permanent Resident Certificate).

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• The selection process comprises:
  1. Written Examination: 85 multiple-choice questions on Basic Medical Science and Dental Specialty Subjects. Duration: 2 hours. Total marks: 85. Negative marking: 0.33 marks for each wrong answer.
  2. Viva Voce / Interview: 15 marks.
  3. Document Verification: Original certificates will be verified.
• Final merit will be based on combined marks from the Written Examination and Interview.
• Important: No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the selection process.
