Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Essential: Master’s Degree in a relevant subject OR possessing other relevant professional Degrees earned after a study of 4 years or more acquired after 10+2.
- Retired Officers: Irrespective of educational qualifications, officers retired as Development Officers/Industrial Advisor or equivalent posts from Technical Divisions of the Ministry/Departments having relevant experience will be considered (subject to DoE guidelines dated 09.12.2020).
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience is required.
- Must have experience in PSU/Govt Organization/Research/Industry/Manufacturing/Capital Goods/Heavy Engineering & Machine Tools.
Desirable Qualifications
Candidates with M.Phil, M.S, LLM, Ph.D, published papers, or additional research experience will be given preference.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: Below 45 years.
- Retired Government Servants: Age ceiling is relaxed as per DoE’s OM dated 09.12.2020.
Selection Process
The selection process is straightforward and does not involve a written exam.
- Shortlisting: Candidates meeting the Qualification and Experience criteria will be shortlisted.
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview (Online or Offline mode).
- Final Selection: Based on interview performance.
Salary and Remuneration
- Initial Pay: Rs. 1,00,000/- per month.
- Increments: The remuneration is fixed for the contract term. However, exceptional performance may lead to enhancements up to 5% or 10% with specific approvals.
- Contract Period: 2 years (extendable up to 4 years total, subject to age limit of 65 years).
