Educational Qualification & Experience:Varies by post. Refer to the detailed table above. For the Young Professional post, CA/ICWA/MBA Finance/PG in Commerce with 1 year experience is required. For the Retired Officer post, experience as Senior Accounts Officer or above is required.
Skills:Accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, audit, MS Excel/PowerPoint (for YP).
Age Limit:Young Professional: Not above 32 years. Retired Officer: Not above 62 years (as on 30.09.2026).
Salary (per month):
Young Professional: ₹70,000/- per month. Retired Officer: As per DoE guidelines (last pay drawn minus basic pension).
Selection Procedure: Screening Process followed by a Personal Interview (hybrid mode or in person).

Important Terms & Conditions

- Leave: Entitled to 1 day of leave for each completed month (no accumulation beyond a calendar year).
- No Allowances: No TA/DA, HRA, CCA, CGHS, or medical reimbursement. TA/DA for official tours is reimbursed as per rules.
- Termination: Can be terminated at any time without prior notice. One month's notice is generally provided.
- Medical: Must submit a Medical Fitness Certificate before appointment. No medical compensation is admissible.

The allocation of work of the Ministry of Heavy Industries entails promoting the engineering industry viz. machine tools, heavy electrical, industrial machinery, and auto industry and administration of 29 operating CPSEs and 4 autonomous organizations. The CPSEs under the Ministry are engaged in the manufacture and in consultancy and contracting services. The CPSEs under the Ministry manufacture a wide range of products Boilers, Gas/Steam/ hydro turbines, industrial machinery, turbo generators, three-wheelers, tractors, and consumer products such as paper, salt, tyres and watches. The Ministry also looks after the machine-building industry and caters to the requirements of equipment for basic industries such as steel, non-ferrous metals, power, fertilizers, refineries, petrochemicals, shipping, paper, cement, sugar, etc.
