Eligibility for Materials Manager
- Essential: Degree or equivalent in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering from a recognised University/ Institution.
- Desirable: Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Materials Management from a recognised University/Institution.
- Experience: Twelve years experience in Executive Cadre in the field of Materials Management/ Mechanical Engg/ Electrical Engineering in an Industrial/ Commercial/ Govt Undertaking.
Salary/Stipend

Selection Process
The selection is by merit for which overall grading in the APARs should not be below "Very Good".
How to Apply
Applications are invited from eligible and willing officers of all the Major Port Authorities. The applications shall be submitted through 'Online Application Portal (OAP)' of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (website http://onlinevacancy.shipmin.nic.in) from 08-12-2025 to 06-01-2026. The candidate has to submit the hard-copy of the application form uploaded in OAP to his administrative Port for onward forwarding to MbPA.
