Educational Qualification: DNB, M.Phil/Ph.D, MS/MD, MPH
Online applications are invited for project post to be filled up on purely temporary or contractual basis under the project at ICMR-National Centre for Disease Informatics and Research, Bengaluru.
1. Name of the Project: 'Preparation and Standardization of Tools for the Implementation of State Level NCD Monitoring Survey in India' at ICMR-National Centre for Disease Informaties and Research, Bengaluru. (upto 15-04-2022) [Short term extramural]

4. Essential Qualification: MBBS with Post Graduate Degree (MD/DNB/MPH) in Public health/Community Medicine/ Preventive and Social medicine/ Epidemiology / Public Health from a recognized University/ Institute with eight years of teaching experience/ five years of experience of working in large scale health related research/ survey.
a.Or Masters in Social Sciences with PhD. OR Retired Government employee with essential requisite educational qualification stated above drawing pay in the pay band Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 6600/ at the time of retirement and having adequate working experience in the required domain/ field And Knowledge of Computer applications (MS word/ Excel/ Power point)
5. Desirable Experience: For 2 (two) months (from 15.02.2022 to 15.04.2022).
6. Emoluments Upto Rs. 1,50,000/- per month (Based on qualification and experience)
7. Period of engagement For 2 (two) months (from 15.02.2022 to 15.04.2022).
8. Job Description: To collate relevant literature for developing survey protocols and questionnaires. To develop draft survey protocol for planning and implementing the rvey. To prepared the training manual for the survey staff based on the survey protocol. To coordinate, organize and document the expert group meetings. Finalize the protocol, questionnaires and data indicators for NCDs in consultation with experts. To undertake any other project related work assigned.

NCDIR Plans, directs, develops, supports, coordinates and evaluates a national programme of cancer surveillance involving the collection and analysis of reliable data on magnitude and patterns of cancer so as to answer key questions about cancer incidence and mortality in different population.

Interested candidates can pursue courses in Master’s Degree in Computer Application, Information Technology, Computer Science from recognized University OR B.E/ B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology; Bachelors Degree in Statistics / Biostatistics and M.Sc Degree in Statistics / Biostatistics; Graduate in any subject; 12th pass in Science Stream with mathematics as a subject + speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour through speed test on computer; 12th Pass + A typing speed of 35 WPM in English and 30 WPM in Hindi on computer OR 10500 key Depressions per hour in English /9000 key depressions per hour in Hindi.
