Applications are invited for the project posts mentioned below from the eligible candidates in the prescribed proforma appended 1. Post Name: Consultant (Medical) 2. No. of Post: 04 3. Name of the project: CDC-NCD Project 4. Mode of submission: Through Email (Application form along with all supporting documents) 5. Essential Qualification: MD (Community medicine/PSM) OR Master’s degree in Epidemiology/Public health OR PhD (Epidemiology/Public Health) after MBBS Published Papers 6. Desirable Qualification and Experience: Post Graduate Degree MD/MPH/MAE in Public health/Community Medicine/ Preventive and Social medicine/ Epidemiology/ Public Health from a recognized University/ Institute Experience of NCD Epidemiology, including research and public health response in NCD Knowledge of Computer applications and statistical Packages 7. Remuneration: Rs. 1,00,000/- per month (consolidated) 8. Nature of Duties: To provide techno-managerial support to Epidemiology Trainings of ElS/FETP NCD 8& 1-FETP To support the routine operations of the training program Provide technical support to the India EIS/FETP & 1 FETP officers on their Core Activity of Learning (CAL) Mentor India EIS/FETP officers related to outbreak investigations, evaluations of public health surveillance system and epidemiological studies To support officers in scientific abstracts, presentations and manuscripts Any other work assigned by the EIS/FETP course coordinator 9. Duration 1 Year

3. The incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments under NIE/ICMR or continuation of his/her services in any other project. TA/DA will not be paid by NIE for attending the written test/interview.
