Educational Qualification: B.Tech/B.E, M.Sc
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up of the following post on contract basis for India Alliance – Wellcome DBT funded project titled “Deciphering the molecular mechanisms of lithium response in patients with bipolar disorder”– under Dr.Biju Viswanath, Associate Professor of Psychiatry & Principal Investigator.

3. Essential Qualification Candidates should possess at least one of the following options of qualification:
a) Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences with any National level entrance exam qualification OR
b) Graduate Degree in Professional Course (B-Tech) in Biotechnology or equivalent degree with any National level entrance exam qualification OR
c) Post Graduate Degree in Professional course (M-Tech) in Biotechnology or equivalent .
4. Experience Preference will be given to the candidates with cell culture experience.
5. Salary Rs.38,440 (Consolidated)
6. Duration One year

This institute is multidisciplinary institute for patient care, academic pursuit and cutting edge research in the field of mental health and neurosciences. The Central Government recognized its eminent academic position, growth and contributions, and declared it a ‘Deemed University’ in 1994. In 2012, NIMHANS was conferred the status of an ‘Institute of National Importance’
