Educational Qualification: B.Tech/B.E, M.E/M.Tech
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the ISRO-RESPOND project titled “Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence (ML/AI) Hardware/Software Framework for Vyomnoids” in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.

1. Position: JRF
2. No of vacancy: 01
3. Essential Qualification:
a) B. E/ B. Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering with minimum of 65% marks or 6.5 CGPA from a recognized University/ Institute and M. E/ M. Tech M.E/M.Tech in Embedded System/VLSI/ Signal Processing/Image Processing/Micro Electronics/ any other specialization in ECE selected through GATE with 65% marks or 6.5 CGPA having relevant research/ teaching experience as evidence from published papers in standard refereed journals OR
b) B. E/ B. Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering with minimum of 65% marks or 6.5 CGPA from a recognized University/ Institute and Master’s degree (M.E. / M.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering or Data Analytics selected through GATE with 65% marks or 6.5 CGPA having relevant research/ teaching experience as evidence from published papers in standard refereed journals
4. Salary: 31000+16% HRA for the first 2 years and 35000+16% HRA for third year
5. Duration of Project: 36 Months (extension based on performance review every 12 months)

Selection Procedure
The date of written test and interview will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates by E-mail. No T.A/D. A will be paid for attending the interview.

2. Preference will be given to the candidate who is having good academic record, research potential, and relevant experience. However, the selection of the candidate would be based on their performance in the Interview.
3. The selection committee decision is final. If any applicant is found to canvass in any manner, the candidate selection shall be summarily rejected.
4. The candidate selected as Junior Research Fellow, will be permitted to register for PhD Programme as per NITT rules and regulations.
5. The last date for receipt of applications is extended to 17.12.2021
