NIRDPR invites online applications from qualified and experienced persons to engage the services of suitable candidates on contractual basis for various projects for the following positions 1. Post Name: Research Associate 2. No. of Post: 08 3. Title of Project /Centre: a. " Cluster Governance in National Rural Livelihoods Mission" (CGGPA) b. Effectiveness of Integrated Child Development Schemes on Nutritional Status of Children of Rural Uttar Pradesh: A District Wise Analysis(CHRD) c. Exploring the Role of Gram Panchayat in Community Based Disaster Management: A comparative study in Kerala and Odisha (CNRM,CC&DM) d. Conduct of NSAP Social Audit Pilots in 10 States (CSA e. Home coming of Migrant Labourers: Assessing the Implications on Rural Economy and Society in the State of Bihar (NERC Guwahati) f. Inclusive growth in Indian Agriculture: Need for commercially viable and financially sustainable FPOs (CEDFI) 4. Salary: Rs. 40,000/- per month 5. Qualification: Ph.D. with 2 years post qualification experience (The above qualification should be in the discipline of Social Science/Agriculture/ Statistics/ Technology)

The National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRD&PR) is an autonomous organisation under the Union Ministry of Rural Development. It is a premier national centre of excellence in rural development and Panchayati Raj. National Institute of Rural Development (NIRD) is recognised internationally as one of the UN-ESCAP Centres of Excellence, it builds capacities of rural development functionaries, elected representatives of PRIs, bankers, NGOs and other stakeholders through inter-related activities of training, research and consultancy.
