Educational Qualification: Retired Staff
Applications are invited Online for appointment of 1 (One) Consultant on contract basis for the official work of NEIGRIHMS and related coordination/assistance at North-East Division, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, New Delhi.

3. Eligibility:
Retired Officials of the Central/State/Autonomous/Statutory Bodies having wide experience in noting, drafting of minutes and work related to Establishment, Administration and Financial matters. Preference will be given to candidate having experience in matters such as creation of posts, framing and amendment of recruitment rules (RRs) etc.
4. Remuneration:
The remuneration and other terms and conditions of the retired persons engaged as Consultants shall be regulated in terms of Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure 0M F. No. 3-25/2020-E.IIIA dated 09.12.2020. A fixed amount of remuneration so fixed shall remain unchanged for the term of the contract. There will be no annual increment/percentage increase during the contract period.
5. It may be noted that the appointment will be purely on temporary basis subject to termination at any time without assigning any reason.

Selection Procedure

The North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute Of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) stands as a premier super-specialty teaching and referral institute equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Established in 1987 by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, it holds the distinction of being the first central government health institution in the North East. Institute of National Importance & Excellence
Recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the Hon'ble Prime Minister in 2000, NEIGRIHMS is also a unique 'Centre of Excellence' for medical education and human health resource development, a status conferred by Parliament in 2007. Located on a sprawling 273-acre lush green campus in Mawdiangdiang, Shillong, the institute operates a tertiary care hospital and offers graduate, postgraduate, and post-doctoral courses affiliated with the North Eastern Hill University (NEHU).
