NTPC Executive Trainee Vacancy Details 2026

Note: The vacancies for PwBDs are reserved as per Govt. guidelines. The total number of projected vacancies may increase/decrease at the discretion of NTPC management.

Eligibility Criteria for NTPC Executive Trainee

Eligibility for Executive Trainee – Finance (CA/CMA)

• Essential Qualification: CA/CMA (previously ICWA) qualified from institute recognized by appropriate statutory authority in India.
• Age Limit: Maximum 29 years as on the last date of online application.

Salary & Stipend

• Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale (IDA) of Rs. 40,000-1,40,000 at the basic pay of Rs. 40,000/- (E1 Grade).
• Other benefits such as Dearness Allowance, other perquisites and allowances, terminal benefits, etc., will be admissible as per company rules.

Application Fee

• General/EWS/OBC: Rs. 500/- (Non-refundable)
• SC/ST/PwBD/XSM & Female Candidates: No fee required
• Payment mode: Offline (SBI) or Online (Net banking/Debit Card/Credit Card)

Selection Process

Eligible candidates will have to appear for an All India based Online Selection Test. The test consists of two parts:

• Subject Knowledge Test (SKT)
• Executive Aptitude Test (EAT)

Candidates must qualify in both tests separately. Based on merit, shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification and/or Personal Interview.
