Eligibility for Assistant Professor (Broad Speciality)
- Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in the concerned Broad Speciality or any other equivalent degree or qualification prescribed by the MCI/NMC from time to time.
- Experience: 1 year post PG Senior Resident/Tutorship in the concerned subject or as specified for DNB candidates (1 year for institutions with 500+ beds, 2 years for less than 500 beds). Exemptions apply for candidates appointed as Assistant Professor before 08.06.2017.
- Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025): 21 to 45 years. Relaxation applicable as per rules (5 years for SEBC/SC/ST/Women/Ex-Servicemen, 10 years for PwD).
- Application Fee: Exempted for all categories.
- Selection Process: Written Test as per Odisha Medical Education Service Rules, 2021.
