PCDA Jaipur Invites Application for Staff Car Driver Recruitment 2021

Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (SWC), Jaipur under Ministry of Defence (Finance) is making recruitment to the post of Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) in Pay Matrix Level – 2 of 7th CPC (Rs.19900/- to Rs.63200/-) as per pay matrix specified in Part ‘A’ of schedule of CCS (Revised Pay) Rules 2016 Plus admissible allowances ( Rs 5200- 20200, Pay Band-1, Plus GP Rs 1900 under pre revised scales) General Group “C” Non-Gazetted, NonMinisterial Central Government post carrying All India Service Liablity in the organization of Controller General of Defence Accounts, Defence Accounts Department with the present posting at PCDA (SWC), Jaipur. The likely date of Common Examination for all applicants for the above post is February 2022.

3. Essential Qualifications: (As on 31/12/2021) :

a) Must have passed Matriculation Examination or Equivalent from a recognized board.

b) Possession of valid Driving License for Light Motor Vehicle

c) Knowledge of Motor Mechanism (the candidate should be able to remove minor defect in vehicles)

d) Experience of driving a Light Motor Vehicle for at least three years

4. Desirable Qualification: Three years service as Home Guard or Civil Volunteers.

Selection Procedure

1. Merit List will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the Written Examination. Success in the examination confers no right of appointment unless the Government is satisfied after such enquiry as may be considered necessary, that the candidate is suitable in all respects of appointments to the service/post.

2. Selection process is divided into two stages,:

a) Written Test (Offline) through OMR Sheet

b) Skill Test (to be got conducted through RTO/Equivalent Authority) (Qualifying nature only)

c) Written Test Questions on “General Intelligence and Reasoning” will be non-verbal considering the functions attached to the post. Questions on Numerical Aptitude and General English would be simple, of a level that an average matriculate will be in a position to answer comfortably. Questions on General Awareness would also be of similar standards.

d) Skill Test Candidates who clear written test would be shortlisted (15 candidates for 01 posts) for the next stage, that is, the Skill Test

1) Skill Test Would be qualifying in nature

2) Skill Test/Trade Test would be conducted by Regional Transport Authority/Authorized Agency to assess the candidates’ driving skills including his/her knowledge of Traffic Regulations and basic Mechanical Knowledge of Vehicles.

3) The list of successful candidates would be published only on the website of PCDA SWC Jaipur and no individual information would be sent. Candidates are advised to regularly check the website of PCDA (SWC) Jaipur for future updates.
