The Research Scholar will receive a fixed honorarium of Rs. 50,000/- per month without any dearness allowance, house rent allowance, or other perquisites.
Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Educational Qualification (Research Scholar): Fresh Law Graduate or Post Graduate in Law from a University, College, or Institution established by Law in India. Working knowledge of computer with typing skills is mandatory.
- Age Limit: Not more than 33 years as on 1st January 2026.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
The selection for the Research Scholar post is a two-stage process:
- Shortlisting of Applications: Applications will be screened based on the candidate's research achievements, academic career, and computer skills.
- Interview by Selection Committee: Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed. The Selection Committee will assess suitability considering research/academic record, language communication skills, and computer skills.
No Travel Allowance (TA) or Dearness Allowance (DA) will be paid to candidates for attending the interview.

Key Instructions
- The engagement is purely temporary on a contractual basis, initially for a term of two years, extendable for a further period of one year based on performance.
- The Research Scholar shall not practice in any court of law nor be engaged or appointed elsewhere on honorarium, payment, or otherwise during the engagement.
- If already enrolled with any Bar Council, the candidate must get enrolment suspended for the entire term of engagement.
- A Research Scholar intending to leave at a premature stage must give prior notice of three months, or the residuary term of engagement, whichever is less.
- The Research Scholar shall not leave the headquarters without seeking permission from the Director, Rajasthan State Judicial Academy, Jodhpur.
- Proportionate reduction of honorarium will be made for unauthorized absence or absence beyond the permissible period of leave.
- The selected candidate will be given a 'Letter of Offer' on the date of commencement of engagement.
- Candidates must furnish names and contact details of two responsible persons of integrity, honesty, and good moral character (not blood relations or other relatives) in column 21 of the application format.
